China

China is a striking Collie / Lurcher who is now almost 2.
He came into our care with the rest of his litter when they were 7 months old and
only left their mum when brought into us. China has sat back and watched as all of
his brothers and sisters have been re homed, but he is still patiently waiting for
his perfect home to find him.
China can be a worrier when in new situations, but gains a lot of confidence from
other dogs, and would very much prefer a home where there is already at least one
dog in residence
He is full of fun and very good company.
China's basic obedience is good and he is fine on a lead, but is capable of the classic
"lurcher spin" if he becomes worried whilst on lead.
He loves people and older children, but is a bit boisterous for little ones, and
is also good with confident cats.
All potential adopters will be home vetted and be expected to travel to Kidwelly,
South Wales to meet/adopt China.
If you are interested in China, please send your enquiries, telling us all about
yourselves and the lifestyle you are offering to rehoming.lizziesbarn@googlemail.com
& we will send you our rehoming questionnaire.
Due to the volume of calls we receive, to speed up your enquiry please make your
initial enquiries by email in the first instance.
We will require you to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire before we can proceed. If
you really can't email, please telephone Fionna on 07976-538588 & if you get the
voice mail, I am probably busy with dogs, so be sure to leave a message with your
name, location, land line number & name of the dog you are interested in.
TIA

Tia is a stunning 3 year old Siberian Husky girl.
She has come in to us purely because her owners did not have enough time for her
any more.
Tia is housetrained, is a good traveller and pulls a bit on her lead, but is really
good for a husky!
She is very good with our other dogs, but is a bossy boots, so better as an only
dog or with confident males.
Tia would be best in a home with older children as she's quite a big girl for little
ones to be around.
Her previous owner mentioned that she had mild food aggression, but this is not something
that we have seen during her time here at the sanctuary.
All potential adopters will be home vetted and be expected to travel to Kidwelly,
South Wales to meet/adopt Tia.
If you are interested in Tia please send your enquiries, telling us all about yourselves
and the lifestyle you are offering to rehoming.lizziesbarn@googlemail.com & we will
send you our rehoming questionnaire.
DOTTIE

Approximately 3 years old, Dottie is delightful, she is a very outgoing sociable
dog very good with people, she has been a regular visitor to a local nursing home.
She adores other dogs & wants to play with everything and has a lovely temperament.
Poor Dottie has already had 2 litters & was a wonderful mum, but she really needs
to have the chance to finish being a puppy herself so can seem younger than her actual
age. Dottie needs to be at least one other dog, & he or she needs to be playful like
her. She walks reasonably well on a leash.& her basic obedience is pretty good.
Dottie is very agile & will need a minimum of 6 ft fencing, because she is not happy
being left home when her owners go out, & may look to escape if she becomes bored.
Dottie is China’s Mum & the two would make a fabulous pair ir you wanted 2 dogs.
All potential adopters will be home vetted and be expected to travel to Kidwelly,
S.Wales to meet/adopt Dottie.
If you are interested in Dottie please send your enquiries, telling us all about
yourselves and the lifestyle you are offering to rehoming.lizziesbarn@googlemail.com &
we will send you our rehoming questionnaire.
BRACKEN

Bracken is a lovely Lurcher girl who Is aged 5 years.
She has come in from a home where she was being kept in rather sheltered conditions
with several other dogs and has had little experience of life outside of that home.
Bracken would prefer a quiet, adult home where she will receive the support and guidance
needed to settle her into her new home and to learn house manners. She walks quite
well on a lead, but does better if she's receiving encouragement. Bracken is good
with our other dogs and with cats.
All potential adopters will be home vetted and be expected to travel to Kidwelly,
S.Wales to meet/adopt Bracken.
If you are interested in Bracken please send your enquiries, telling us all about
yourselves and the lifestyle you are offering to rehoming.lizziesbarn@googlemail.com
& we will send you our rehoming questionnaire.
Layla

Layla is a lovely 2 year old Jack Russell terrier cross girl.
She is a very sweet, loving girl once she knows you, but is very scared when meeting
new people, she needs time to get to know them, so she would be happiest in a calm
home that is not going to be too hectic with lots of new people coming and going
all the time.
Layla is great with our other dogs and really enjoys their company.
She has travelled well in the car & van. Walks nicely on a lead & she is housetrained.
We would like to see Layla in an adult only home, where she will get lots of exercise
and attention. With a confident owner who can support her while she learns to accept
all members of her new family. She would benefit from another dog in the home – as
long as it will make a good role model.
All potential adopters will be home vetted and be expected to travel to Kidwelly,
South Wales to meet/adopt Layla.
If you are interested in Layla please send your enquiries, telling us all about yourselves
and the lifestyle you are offering to rehoming.lizziesbarn@googlemail.com & we will
send you our rehoming questionnaire.
Dixxie.

Dixxie is a beautiful English Bull Terrier girl who is aged 4 years.
She is a really gorgeous girl whose only "flaw" appears to be that she gets upset
if startled out of her sleep (just like most heavy sleepers!) instead of being given
time to wake-up properly.
Dixxie is great with the other dogs at the sanctuary and is also good with them when
out on walks, but we feel that she would love to be the only dog in her home where
she would get all of the attention.
She has had eye surgery for untreated entropian, which was successful.
Dixxie is not bad on lead, although, just like the majority of bullbreeds, she's
not bothered about 100% perfect heelwork if there's something interesting to sniff!
She has good recall and is good off lead.
All potential adopters will be home vetted and be expected to travel to Kidwelly,
South Wales to meet/adopt Dixxie.
If you are interested in Dixxie please send your enquiries, telling us all about
yourselves and the lifestyle you are offering to rehoming.lizziesbarn@googlemail.com
& we will send you our rehoming questionnaire.

no problems.
Luna is a big cuddly pup, loves absolutely everyone & wants to be best friends.
All potential adopters will be home vetted and be expected to travel to Kidwelly,
South Wales to meet/adopt Luna.
If you are interested in Luna please send your enquiries, telling us all about yourselves
